Scale of Pay: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2400 plus usual allowances as admissible to the Central Govt. employees from time to time. Besides, they are entitled to ration money, washing allowance, rent free accommodation, free medical aid, free uniform and free railway warrant from place of duty to home town and back during leave as admissible under rules.
Age limit: General Category – 18 years to 25 years, SC/ST Category – 18 years to 30 years and OBC category – 18 years to 28 years as on 01/08/2012. Age limit for Govt. servants relaxable up to 40 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.
Education and technical qualification:
i) 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board or University and
ii) Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized institution and registered as “Pharmacist” under the Pharmacy Act 1948 (8 of 1948)
