Applications are invited for a post of Junior Research Fellow (Professional)/Senior Research Fellow under a DST project entitled “Sustainable synthesis and bio-evaluation of hetero-polycyclic compounds as topoisomerase II inhibitors” under Dr Sankar K. Guchhait (PI), Assistant Professor, Department of Medicinal Chemistry. Salary Rs. 18000/- + HRA. Essential qualifications: (A) Any of following degrees, M.S.(Pharm.)/M. Pharm. in Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Natural Products; M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry; M.Tech. in Pharmaceutical Technology (Bulk Drugs), and (B) Minimum CGPA of 6.75 (or 60% marks) for General, 6.25 (or 55% marks) for SC/ST, 5.75 (or 50% marks) for physically handicapped (PH) candidates on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examination. The above position is purely temporary basis for one year extendable upto 2 years on the basis of annual performance and mutual consent.
