The National Institute of Immunology New Delhi, invites applications for the following posts in project titled “Centre for Molecular Medicine” (CentMM):
1. Scientist II / III – 1 post. The selected candidate would be appointed as Scientist II (PB-3 of Rs 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs 5400/-) OR Scientist III (PB-3 of Rs 15600-39100 +
Grade Pay of Rs 6600/-) depending on qualifications & length of relevant experience.

2. Scientist III – 1 post in PB-3 of Rs 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs 6600/-.
The appointments shall be temporary in project mode tenable till Sept. 2015, with pay and allowances etc. admissible as per the recommendations of VIth Pay Commission of the Government. Other benefits include Leave and Medical reimbursement for self only, as applicable to project staff.
POST 1
Pay Structure and Qualifications:
Scientist II
Pay Structure - PB-3 of Rs 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs 5400/-
Qualification - Ph.D in Organic Chemistry / Bio – Organic Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry with one year post doctoral experience in the relevant field.
Scientist III
Pay Structure - PB-3 of Rs 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs 6600/-
Qualification - Ph.D in Organic Chemistry / Bio – Organic Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry with four years post doctoral experience in the relevant field.
Upper Age Limit : Scientist II- 35 years; Scientist III- 40 years
POST 2
Pay Structure and Qualifications:
Scientist III - Pay Structure – PB-3 of Rs 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs 6600/-
Qualification - Ph.D in Chemistry / Bio – Organic Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry with four years post doctoral experience as a Post Doctoral Fellow in the field of Biomedical Sciences.
Desirable
Proven experience in Chemical Synthesis and NMR Spectroscopy.
Job Description
Synthesize small molecule inhibitors for Cancer therapy, analyis of protein using NMR Spectroscopy.
