WANTED ON-THE-JOB TRAINEES
The Kerala Medical Services Corporation (KMSCL), a fast expanding fully owned Government of Kerala Company setup in 2008 as a central procurement agency for essential drugs and equipments for all Government Hospitals / Health Institutions of the State, including Medical College Hospitals and management agency for ‘108’ Ambulance Services. As part of the efforts of the Government to make branded drugs available to the people at affordable rates, commercial sales of high value drugs and medical devices is undertaken through the Karunya Community Pharmacy Services. The Corporation also forayed into civil and electrical construction projects. The Corporation requires on-the-job trainees under variouscategories listed below-
1. Trainees (Drug Purchases, Quality Control, Community Pharmacy Services)
Duties-Preparation of indents for the bulk purchase of essential drugs, preparation of tender documents, tabulation
works, placing of purchase orders, assistance in CPS, procurement, negotiation, etc
EQ: B Pharm/M Pharm (with valid Pharmacy Council Registration Certificate preferred)
2 Trainees (Warehouse Management)
Duties-To assist the Warehouse Manager to take stock of incoming drugs and distribute the medicines as per the intend received from user institutions and maintain the supply chain of drugs, preparation of supply orders to find out re-order level of drugs and stores, online monitoring of the movement of drugs in warehouses, verifying the stock, managing the supply chain through computer software.
EQ- B Pharm/M Pharm (with valid Pharmacy Council Registration Certificate preferred)
Applicants should be below 25 years of age as on 01.12.2012 and should be essentially Computer Proficient.
Salary- 10,000 PM as stipend
The candidates who had applied earlier for the position of on-the-job trainees category and the candidates whose immediate relatives are the staff of KMSCL are ineligible to apply.
